About AWT

Anthony William Tucker is a Bartlesville, Oklahoma native who grew up in the lower middle class with his three younger sisters within the world renown oil town. AWT obtained his high school diploma from Bartlesville High School as an active member of the high school's journalism department, football team, and soccer team. AWT is a proud graduate of Rogers State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. AWT will be a first-year law school student at the University Oklahoma College of Law in Norman, Oklahoma starting Fall 2013 as a part of the class of 2016.

AWT has worked within both the private and public sectors during his college tenure and after his graduation from RSU (Rogers State University) as a marketing specialist. Within the private sector AWT served as the director of marketing for a regional manufacturing firm located near Bartlesville, OK during his senior year of college and ensuing months after his graduation. AWT then accepted a position with Rogers State University, his alma mater, to work at the Innovation Center, as a marketing strategist. It was in this position that AWT was able to work with for-profit businesses, non-profits, and community leaders to help cultivate economic development through developing strategic marketing plans. This included training over 100 organizations within the State of Oklahoma on how to integrate new media tools into their marketing and promotional strategies. It was through these experiences with Oklahomans that he had his thought's confirmed that he was put on this earth to help individuals reach their true capabilities and to help eliminate barriers that stand in the way of individuals of reaching their potential. These feelings are authentic for both the citizens of the state of Oklahoma and the Oklahoman business community.

AWT will seek to run for the Oklahoma State Senate in 2016 as a part of the democratic party while finishing his third and final year at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. AWT seeks to work within the private sector as a lawyer while representing his fellow Oklahomans in the Oklahoma State Senate.
